RICK TIMMINSPrincipal
Rick is a resident of Austin, Texas and is heavily involved in the Austin start-up community. Since 2009, he has been a Venture Partner at G-51, which focuses on seed stage and early investments in start-up companies.  He is a Board member and former Chairman of the Central Texas Angel Network. He brings with him 35 years of experience in financial management and strategic guidance gained while he was working with two Fortune 100 technology leaders.  Most recently, Rick served as vice president and Corporate Controller of finance at networking technology leader Cisco Systems.  Prior to Cisco, Rick served as vice president of finance for Motorola, where he had worldwide financial responsibility for the Semiconductor division.

Rick is also a Board member of four companies: two public and two private. The public companies are Ultratech (symbol: UTEK) and Iris International (symbol: IRIS). The two private companies are Socialware and Nexersys both of which are start-up companies in Austin.  Rick holds a B.S. degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona, an M.B.A. degree from St. Edward’s University, and was previously a Certified Public Accountant.

BRYAN CUMBYPrincipal
Bryan is also a long time resident of Austin, Texas. Since 2002 he has been active in developing and constructing select real estate projects across Texas. Projects include select single family, multifamily, retail, and commercial opportunities. Bryan currently serves as a managing member of Mid City Development and J.B. Cumby Construction where the focus is on developing and constructing high quality multifamily and commercial developments in Texas. In the past Bryan has also served in various Austin area community leadership roles with the boards of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, The Capital Area Boy Scouts of America, The Paramount Theatre, and Junior Achievement of Central Texas.
